Fixing The Cracks At The Corners Of Your Mouth
Cracking of the corners of the mouth is a widespread affliction that is often viewed in each the offices of dermatologists and dentists. It is acknowledged as perleche or angular cheilitis ("angular" - angles; "cheil" - lip; "itis" - irritation). Perleche is derived from the French phrase, "lecher," which means to lick, and is characterized by extreme licking of the impacted places - both as a consequence of irritation or simply because of it.
